I took my niece's wedding pictures on the weekend. Way too young to get married but that's another story. She has a pretty good case of acne. Here is a sample of the before picture. I started using the healing brush on this but this is going to be a long arduous task to clean up her face. I've never had much luck in trying to put tht glow look into their face.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to speed up this process. The groom's face is not a whole bunch better.

What software are you using? If Photoshop - try applying gaussiant blur until skin seems smooth, than in hystory box go step back so image returns to original state, click in the box to the right of gaussiant blur (in history box) select history brush from pallet, set mode to lighten (this will take out acne) use a soft edged brush & set opacity to 50% and give it a try.
Good luck!

Or, dupe the layer, G. blur it, add a layer mask & paint black, white , variations of gray on the mask to hide/reveal the changes. Advantage is that you can always repaint the mask to make changes.
Histories are NOT saved with the file!
