I have read several links in other forums about whether the jagged diagonal lines (Jaggies) on the G2 are really there or merely an artifact of 4megapixel-72dpi monitor. I ust printed a print that appears to me to have jaggies. Is there anybody out there who has run into the problem and are there any solutions that you know of?

For my prints I'm using only tiff files converted from raw.
And I haven't seen any of these jaggies yet, even at 11x14 prints.
I put some of my prints on display at Henry's (Thornhill location in Toronto), if you live somewhere near, please come by and take a look.
Best Regards,

What for a time caused a storm on the Canon forums, and were called "jaggies" were, as you said, explained as monitor resolution conflict problems.
I have not experienced any jagged diagonal lines with either S-20, G1 or G2 prints. I suspect that you are using too much JPG compression (which can cause the problem) or perhaps software with a bad scaling algorithm.
Try Q image or Photoshop (6 or "Elements"). Use crw files and tiffs (or psd files in photoshop) never use jpgs if you can help it.
