Modify the counter in IXUS 400

I have an IXUS 300 and plan to buy an IXUS 400. My biggest "problem" (not a big deal) is to be able to continue from my current photo numbering (i.e. 135-3564_IMG.JPG)

The new camera will start from cero of course. Any clue of how to change that number in the camera? (other than shooting 3.564 empty photos ;-) )

Isn't this info stored in the compact flash ?

Just take the CF out of your v3 and put it in the 400 and all should carry on in sequence.

This worked for me when I upgraded from my S30 to the S400. Thanks for the help. I then switched back to the card I was using with the low numbers and the high number continued. Congrats to Canon for tracking this in the camera, but watching the cards for the high number to use.
