G2 and imagebrowser (Mac)

I thinkt he camera is a big improvement over the G1. However I have notice that the browsing software included for the Mac is much, much slower for G2 files than for G1 files. G2 RAW files are only a bit bigger than G1 files but the software seems to take fifty times as long to open them. Has anyone had this same experience and do you know why this is happening.

Dear John,

You are absolutely right, the G2 is a great improvement over the G1 however, one needs a lot of patience to load and convert a few Raw files.
I really hope Canon will improve this, otherwise I'll put "War and Peace" next to my computer, and start reading again.
