Just what the title says, went as a spectator so all shots taken from outside the fences at various locations around Road America.

really like 2 and 3. all are very good.

Thank you for the kind comments everyone! Glad you liked them! For a first time and with no access I was pretty satisfied with the results so far. I just started going through the shots, not even a quarter of the way through yet.

I was up there sunday. Took pics from T6 (inside and outside), T7, T12 and T13. Still have to d/l them from the memory card (800ish).

Ended up with sunburned calves.:lol:

I was up there sunday. Took pics from T6 (inside and outside), T7, T12 and T13. Still have to d/l them from the memory card (800ish).

Ended up with sunburned calves.:lol:

These were all taken on Friday, our local airshow was Saturday and Sunday. Most of my pictures were taken in T6,T7, T8, and T9. Between the race and the airshow, I took about 2000 shots, still just starting to process them.

Oh, and I ended up with a sunburned scalp (forgot to wear a hat Friday and Saturday):lol:

awesome for a first time for sure! please post more if you have time :)

Thank you very much! I'll post a few more as soon as I get to processing them, I have a couple thousand shot backlog at the moment:(

My only critique is watch your parade lap shots. Pics 2 and 3 are definitely parade laps based on the angle of attack by the riders. Angle of attack and body positioning are essential to good 2 wheeled shots.

Thanks for the advice. I was only there for a few hours on the Friday, so they were all just of the early practice sessions, no actual racing.
