Howdy Folks,
Just purchased my first digital camera, A70, and am in a state of amazement at what it can do.

I'd like to be able to put multiple pics on a word page that I've been using to mount conventional photos, some side by side, some one above the other, sometimes diagonal down the page and some that might even overlap a bit.

How do I do it? The only software that I have so far is that which comes with the Canon A-70. Zoombrowser & Photoimpression.

Thanks in advance
Pat

Depending on what you are loking to do MS office software has programs to creat such pages.

You can either link or embed the image into the MSWord document and then resize as you choose.

If you embed the image into the Word document, the size of the document will be larger, due to the image, but you will not lose the relative link if you only reference it in the document. Try embedding first and then link if you like once you have a handle on the other aspects.

Depending upon the version of Word, the steps are slightly different, but if you use the Insert, Picture, From File menu options you can import/embed the picture into the document.

In MSWord2000 and before, you could create a frame and then insert the picture into it. You could either lock or float the frame so that pictures could overlap and cover others, say at overlapping corners, etc.

MSWordXP seems to have gone the html definition for frames, so I am not certain what happened to the other option. I haven't spent enough time with my new system to have tried this with the XP version yet.

Hope this helps a bit.
