Took these at the AZ GT race yesterday, rumor was that there was a photographer with a 1200 f/5.6L following this series, but I didn't see him and trust me, I looked!

Love the b&w paired w/the blue bimmer.
How many hours (or minutes?) to achieve that kind of affect, and what tool did you use?

Very nice photos. I love the DOF effect in the first photo.
Myself I spent the last weekend at Monteló Circuit de Catalunya watching the Spanish F1 GP :D A very good race, unfortunate that Raikkonen crashed early on. It could have been even better had that not happened. Had awsome seats for watching the race, unfortunatelly they were crap for taking photos of it. My poor G3 could not get close enough to the action even at full digital zoom ... and 93,000 people meddling about didn't help much either. I still took 227 frames until the memory ran out :)
I put up some of the not-so-great-at-all photos (chosed at random and resized w/o color correction or anything):

I looked in you galleries and was really impressed by the outstanding quality of your work. I could also tell that you fancy Ferrari, a lot. If you look there is a photo of a scruffy tourist type w/ a ! Ferrari cap ! in front of CLK-AMG pace car (took some random person three tries to take the only underexposed, unflattering and out-of-focus (thats prolly a good thing) picture of myself.
I tried to get a paddock club pass, but failed miserably since those got snapped up faster then I though they would. Anyways, looking forward to Monaco now ...
Regarding the photo of the tires w/ a nice DOF effect. Was it like that straight out of the camera? Or did you do that in PP? I have tried to replicate it w/ my G3, but I can't seem to get enough DOF even a full tele. Although, I have been able to do that w/ smaller objects such as flowers etc.

I love the color/BW affect in the photo with the BMW. Really quite bold and vivid.
