Splitting the Market Forum.

Just a passing suggestion, but would there be any sense in splitting the Market Forum into say, a USA section, Europe section, Australia etc etc? I know the majority of posters on POTN are American and Canadian , but i'd like to be able to see items for sale, that are more accesible to a buyer in Europe as buying in from America is obviously a risk regarding customs etc.

That might be a good idea, though the marketplace forum isn't really that big. Another option might be to reccommend naming your country in the title of the thread, or even putting a drop-down list on the form to select your country or region when starting an new thread in that forum.

I wouldn't be in favor of splitting the Marketplace. I would be in favor of requiring people to post their location when listing items for sale, either in the title line or in the body of the post.

An item for sale in Southern California is far more likely to pique my curiosity if I can drive there and see it. The converse would be true of an item that's in , say, Australia.

[**EDIT**] Of course, if people would list their location in the custom profile, it would all be moot. We could figure it out oursleves.
