Some images from the Britcar race at a very rainy Thruxton on sunday. At some points I couldn't actually see anything. With raindrops on my viewfinder, plus my glasses (and they had steamed up!) it was a question of pointing at the headlights and hoping for the best.

C&C welcome (I know my watermark needs a bit of work ;) )

Great series, especially for "point and hope"
I quite like 1 and 4.

Your shutter speed and aperture seems to have fallen in that range that I only seem to find when its bucketing down, dark enough for a shutter speed that allows a bit of wheel blur, at an aperture that gently blurs the cars behind.

Great shots, can I ask what lens you were using?

Thanks for the comments :)

Dereck - I was using the Canon 55-250. A cracking little lens for the price.

Well done Ingsy, great results from abominable weather and light.

The exposures have worked out well ,and the headlight have not thrown them.
