I have just come into 3 cameras. An EOS-1, a EOS-20D and an EOS-60. I don't want to have to learn how to use all three of them. Which one would be best for most people to use?

What a strange question. (?)
The 20D is the "newer" of the cameras you listed and has 8.2 million pixels. (The D60 is 6.2 million pixels, but will be considerably slower and lacks several features on the 20D).

20D is a awesome camera, fast, 8MP and very low noise level @ high ISO.

I sure would like to come into 3 cameras. Are you asking which should you keep? It doesn't sound as though you are really into digital.

Which EOS 1? There are several film versions with that designation, as well as the digital EOS 1D, EOS 1Ds, EOS 1D Mk. II, and EOS 1Ds Mk. II. I'm assuming you inherited these from someone else, which would rule out the 1D Mk. II N, which was just released.

Okay, I recognize the 20D, but are the other two film or digital?
If the EOS-60 is a D60, it's a good 6 mp camera, but the 20D is still better.
If the EOS-1 is digital, it's either a 1D or 1Ds. Which one matters a great deal. Do you have any more information so we can nail it down a little better for you?

They are all digital cameras. I have been using a G3 for several years now. My late husband left a good bit of camera equipment. My daughters have no interest in it. I was thinking about selling it but now I want to try to use one of the cameras. Looks like I try the 20D and just store the 1 and 60. Thanks for the advice.

If the EOS-1 is digital, it's either a 1D or 1Ds.
It has EOS-1 and then a "D" below that. There is no "s".

Sheryljean,
sorry to hear about your loss.
They are all great cameras.
The D60 is the oldest of these, and the 'grandfather' of the 20D. It's a good camera, but technical progress has brought cheaper cameras to the market (most notably the 10D and 300D) that were both cheaper and sported some improvements (the 10D very similar to the D60, the 300D as a cheaper model with reduced functionality). The 20D is the successor of the 10D with further improvements - it is the current standard for advanced digital cameras.
So my advice would be to keep the 20D and maybe sell or give away the D60, as it is quite unlikely that you will either need it as backup (important for professional photographers) and its value will further diminish. The 20D is a much better camera and easier to use - very similar to your G3.
The 1D is a professional tool that once was the hallmark of digital photography and still is a very noteworthy contender. It is very robust and will give you great performance, albeit less user-friendly and with a lower resolution than the 20D - the same as your G3 gives you.
Best regards,
Andy
