Firmware update question or maybe a problem?

Greetings,
I just updated the firmware on my 1D Mark II to Ver. 2.02 and all seemed to go well but when it was finished the firm ware listed on the Menu 2 screen says Ver.1.2.4....I expected to say 2.02
Is there something wrong here?

1.2.4 is the latest firmware for the 1D II. The 2.0.2 firmware is the current 20D version. So you're cool.

I didn't think the grip did that much for the 20D! If it makes it enough like a 1D II that people can't keep them straight, I'll have to re-examine my attitude!

I did mine also this afternoon, no problem with the upgrade of the firmware. It says 1.2.4

I do not have a battery grip on my 20D...I guess I am just dumb....:o
