I have four lionhead rabbits. I have tried photographing them but they are always jumping away. I am just looking for any ideas on how to get some good shots of them NOT in motion LOL. And also if you have any ideas for cute props to use in the pictures. Like putting them in a large basket or something like that? Any ideas would be very helpful!

do they stay still while eating? i would assume they do. a basket would make a nice prop, some flowers too.

I have on-the-go bunnies too. They are often still while eating, drinking, in their "houses", or in their litter box (I know, not the best surroundings for a picture). I mainly rely on a fast shutter speed to get crisp pictures of them.

How often do you handle your rabbits? A lot or minimal? Ours has been handled pretty much since the day he came to live with us and is used to getting his picture taken. Sometimes he chills out for it, other times he shoves his nose in the lens. He usually sits still while eating his banana and if we pet him for a while. We apply soft pressure when petting his head as we read that it relaxes rabbits. Also unknown territory freaks him out to the point where he just sits still waiting for it to be over, so maybe if there's somewhere they haven't been might help.

This was taken with my first point and shoot, maybe a month or 2 after we got him. As you can see, he was pretty much used to us:

If you want like, cute still posed pics of them, have someone pet them, then as soon as they take their hands away, snap the pic, before they move. My bunnies always had a delayed reaction before moving around after petting. Here's a point and shoot example:

Edit: I forgot you said you had Lionheads. Boy are they ACTIVE. We currently have 3 of them, and they are so spastic, LOL. The above advice works well for Jersey Woolies ;)
