Hello POTN,

I apologize if my title is too short to describe about my concern I'm about to ask.

I'm actually getting a wedding photoshoot, and I'm working on the package deal for the couple.

The bride would like to have an 8x12 album which includes 40-50 photos. Also, she also would like to have 2 large pictures with frames for the wedding day. (I've been thinking about charging them double the price I get to pay for the printing job. Is this a acceptable idea?)

I never done any printing work before so please excuse my limited experience. I would like to ask how much it would cost and how much I should charge them?

I'm about to do my print job from mpix or costco. May you guys give me some advice on frame wise? What's a good frame with affordable price?

Thank you so much for your help. All comment and advice are much appreciated.

Best regards,

-MC

From what I have read albums can be as much as 5x the cost, this will be dependent on your local economy, I charge 2.5 x the cost for my albums...for prints, its really up to you on what you charge...whatever you are happy with that will cover your costs and time put into editing the image. I would suggest checking with local photographers to see what they are charging to get an idea of where you should be...

Thank you so much for your advice and sharing.

I think I should have checked this myself, but it might happen that someone knows.

How much Costco or mpix charge for the large frames? What size should I get for those? The big ones?
