I was so busy looking at the comparison (which weren't cropped or taken to plan, just happened to be fairly consistent angles, and shooting positions).. That I forgot to share others. Well I'll only share one more

I was in Queenstown/Arrowtown the first day there, and went to Mt Cook the following day, where it snowed. So in fact, the two scenes, were a day apart.

Looks like you've got the same weather as we had here! :) I'm still cleaning up broken tree branches from my yard.

The winter scenes are very beautiful. Can you send some that cold air my way. The Hi for this week here in South Texas is in the upper to mid 80's.

Thanks everyone. It definately was chilly. These were shot on 18th/20th September. I just want to go back now! I don't think there'll be anymore snow around there now. Arrowtown is quite bizarre, that it can be negative *C in September, and then a month or two later, is up to 25*C. It also records some of New Zealand's highest temps, around 35*C.
