I have gotten myself into a frame of mind where I only shoot in late afternoon or early morning for outside shots, when the sun is low in the sky and the light is so rich and warm.

Am I limiting myself with this kind of thinking I wonder? One thing I haven't really tried are any nite shots using a tripod. After looking at some of P's shots I am anxious to find some good nite candidates.

What are others thoughts about time of day shooting outdoors?

I think you can shoot ANY time and ANYWHERE you want.

Why to make restrictions for yourself ? Only because the light in the morning (evening) is richer ? We can skip a life such a way :)
