After I posted the last shot, I thought I should include a cropped shot ..... Also, please bear in mind they are of a far greater dpi than on this forum - this is why they are not all that sharp.... but easier and quicker to download
cheers'

It seems like a nice shot it's just that there is so much to look at. The couple to the left is definately a distraction. Even though the reflection is always kinda neet it may not work in this shot. I would crop off the bottom at the platform and to the right of the flowers at her feet. Clone out the second couple.

Hi Rel,

I like your original post better and since you're asking for critique, I offered a few thoughts on your other message:

See you over there.

Hope you don't mind but I made a quick alteration. Here is the verision i whipped up. I also got rid of the white pole as I think it really distarcted the eye, epsecially against that dark green right in the center.

(I know the cloning aint perfect, but it gives you an idea)

I think it's a nice shot. I like the couple in the back, gazing at the newlyweds!

I agree with removing the pole, though. It draws the eye away from the subject and separates the couples.

As for cropping, I would have cropped the top down to just above the dark green... and used all the water in the shot I could. To me, that clear reflection is a big part of the beauty of this shot!

Ultimately, I'm sure the couple is exstatic about the shot. And as for me, it's good art as well!
