Hi, I need a cheap (under $300 preferred) digital camera for photographing printed circuit boards. It would need to have macro capability and be able to photograph boards in room light. Any suggestions?

Brian - Take a look at the S2 IS. Maybee it's a little bit expensier then you say but it's a very good camera and the macro capabilitis are very good.
I read in your post that you want to photograph PCB. What do you do once you have taken a picture of these printed circuits boards?
I'm doing myself alot of PCB desing so I'm just curious.
Good luck.

Hi, we use the photos to show faulty components, how to rework boards, etc. I'll check out the S2 IS, thanks.
