On Sunday night a hotel in Kissimmee, FL caught fire. Fortunately (better yet, LUCKILY) there were no serious injuries. Here is a Link to the Story (http://www.cfnews13.com/article/news/2011/june/269742/12-hospitalized-in-massive-Kissimmee-hotel-fire) that also has some pictures of what it looked like while it was on fire.

I decided to stop by today and took some shots of the aftermath. Full set can be found Here (http://mr-bill-photography.smugmug.com/Urban/Kissimmee-Fire/17809711_DKn5rT#1361215011_dB356nf)

That's a lot of damage there -- pretty cool pics!

Hey, you might want to change the lower-case "el" in "Fl" to the upper-case "FL" so it will be more clear where the heck Kissimee is (it sure ain't in TN):)!

When I was down here 2 weeks ago, I had my 70-200 and my 1.4 extender.
Of course all I have with me on this trip is my 24-105 lens.So couldn't get too close to the area. Most of the shots are crops.

Yeah, I know how that goes -- cropping is fine if you have no choice in your focal length! I run into that all the time out in nature, especially wildlife -- there's never enough reach! It makes it quite "special" when I'm shooting something that I can properly frame!
