The first time where everything was perfect from the composition to the PP! Everything i've learned comes to this new picture as I've gotten better and better!

I've been to that waterfall several times, and have lots of photos of it, but this one stands out due to its atmosphere and sense of scale. I've yet to top it.

I had just gotten my Canon 40D back from Lifepixel after having them convert it to Super Color IR. Took it down to the Murrah Bombing Memorial in Oklahoma City. Took several images but this one stood out . Father teaching son about the day that changed Oklahoman's forever. This is a Super Color IR image brought into HDR Express and then into Photoshop for the final touches.

Funny enough it is this one that I thought would not come out after IS on the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM started to act up, I was really surprised by it and found that it would become my favorite photo.

My favorite just because of "the feel."
Shot with Canon XSi and Sigma 18-200mm

This car just looked awesome. I randomly found it while in California and only got this one shot.

Far be it of me to judge anyone's automotive taste, but do you really think that POS is awesome??? When I think of using that word for a car, I usually associate it with a 1966 Cobra, '69 Shelby, Hemi 'Cuda, '64 Corvette Split Window Coupe, Lamborghini, DB9, Ferrari, etc., not an old Mazda missing the front fender.

Just wondering how that car can be considered "awesome." No offense...

i started to really get into photography after taking some concert shots.
i got my first dslr a few months ago and this is my favorite shot (so far) of my favorite band phish.
i love when the lighting director uses this color scheme.

i usually have a new favorite shot every month or so, i'll have plenty more to add.

Has to be this one. In planning the shot, I liked the sense of scale and symmetry combined with the sharp lines throughout. When I actually took the picture, a father and son stepped into the frame without me noticing. In retrospect, I feel it adds a lot to the image. More than just an architectural photo, it complicates the composition and implies the exploration of an anonymous parent and child, while also providing an extra sense of scale.

I'd have to say this one is my favourite photo, at the moment at least. I took it in the park near my home. It's a nothing shot, really, but I like it. I shot it with the 100mm macro and my 5D.

It's so tough to pick a favorite, but I would have to say that this is as good a pick as any. This is my wife feeding a Lorikeet at the Aquarium of the Pacific, and it just cracks me up every time I see it. If I never stop getting amusement out of a photo, then I think it qualifies as a "favorite."
