I'm working on a roof, the Minneapolis skyline is to the west.
These pics are taken 6 minutes apart.

Sunrise.

Moonset.
I think Im going to rework this one. The colors ended up getting a banding
effect as I made the pic smaller for web posting.

Wow! These are both great! I can't decide which one I like better! Are the little speckles in the middle of the first one birds?

Great shots. I considered doing exactly this as I was driving to work yesterday, but didn't have the right spot as you certainly did here! Well Done!

Thanks. Yes, the specks are birds. I didn't know they were there til I loaded
the pics on the computer. Sometimes, the surprises are nice.

Great shots. I considered doing exactly this as I was driving to work yesterday, but didn't have the right spot as you certainly did here! Well Done!

Thanks. I wish I'd have had the camera with me the day before. The moon set
right behind the buildings on that day. I brought the camera in figuring I could
get the same shot today. No. The moon set an hour later, and much farther
to the north. Moral of the story, keep the camera with you.

great shots, i work nightshift myself and often see great pic oppertunitys but capturing them like this is something else, im currently trying to get pics of my city centre without the human element, but as soon as the people move the wildlife, gulls fox move in to eat the food they leave
