Well I wasn't 100% sure where to put this. I just recently bought a 20D and it came with no software. I have a card reader on the way, but as of right now I have no way of pulling the pictures off of the camera and onto the computer. I usually used zoombrowser for that when I had my 300D, but of course it doesn't work for the 20D. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Why wouldn't you have software?

PM me if you have HSI.

The guy that I purchased it from lost it. And pardon my ignorance, but what is HSI?

High Speed Internet.

20D drivers are available at Canonusa.com. I've downloaded the camera driver but still could not open RAW images without the original software included with the camera. If you shoot in jpeg you can still open the pictures with another program. Otherwise you can purchase PS CS2 and that is capable of opening raw images.

If you want the software I can give you a link that has a very good price on it. Email me if you choose that route.

Well RFMSports has offered to put the software on his server for me. I downloaded the drivers, but I don't have any other programs to pull the pictures off the camera since I always used the software that came with my previous cameras. I have a card reader on the way, but the pictures I have on here need to come off ASAP.

Thanks for the offer.

As long as you have the drivers loaded then my guess is that photoshop should be able to retrieve them. If you go to the Adobe web site you can download a 30 day trial of CS2 for free just to try it out. I would try that route if you need the images right away. Then you can determine what to do later with a permanent solution.
