This was so great to see. This imm. Bald Eagle chased this Osprey for nearly 5 minutes and finally the Osprey dropped the fish...and the EAGLE CAUGHT IT!!! Unfortunately it was so far away by then that it was impossible to get any of that on camera.

Excellent capture. I saw that happen once on the Rogue river in Oregon, it was the only bald eagle I've seen and I was so impressed at how the eagle turned and manuerved with such agility.

EXCELLENT! :D The only thing that could have made this set better, would be if you caught the Eagle catching the fish in mid air. :shock: ;)

Yes, that's why I really liked the second one as it shows how huge that eagle is. I actually saw an adult chasing an osprey later. Got some shots but didn't get as close as these though.

Outstanding shots. Most times when I try to get a shot like that (mostly hawks) I don’t have time to focus, click, or see the bird in the viewfinder. Well done.
