This was taken in Fanning Island in the Republic of Kirabati- from a very bumpy tender boat ride to the mainland...

Hope it dosn't scare to many people into not taking a cruise - the weather is normally stunning in this part of the world!!!

p.s still in hawaii and enjoying my new hobby very much.!

What a nice shot!!!!! The sky seems so threating that gives me the chills (reminds me of Rita, Katrina ,etc etc)!!!!!

Just out of curiosity: where'd you take this shot from? I guess if you were on a boat it would have had to be rocking like hell, wouldn't it?

Thanks for the comments. Because of the location, it's not posible to tie the ship up alongside, so we use the ships lifeboats to tender the passengers to shore.- and yes it was one of the worse tender boat rides I've had in 13 years!!!!
