First Still Life post

I have been messing around with shooting food, I MIGHT be putting a cook book together and want to be able to take the pictures for it as well.

Just took this pic with my kit lens after taking the chicken off the grill in light of the sun, no flash. The PS effect is the way I am thinking of showing cooking "steps" pictures, not the finished dish shot.

Looks YUMMY!!! If I saw pics like that in a cookbook...especially if they were showing me HOW to do things..LOL.. I'd buy it! :D

Well those replies convince me about the power of a shot. All the "MMM" type comments for a photograph of chicken breasts that were grilled with nothing, not oven salt, proves that something that should taste bland can look so good.

I am looking into writing a cookbook to go with a diet and training approach I use. So if I can make "clean" healthy food look great more clients will find it more appealing.
