ixus 300 upgrade to s400 have u?

I am thinking of upgrading my ixus 300 which has been a super digital friend on all my fishing trips and holidays. lots of shots on my web site.
If you have upgraded from the ixus 300 (also known as digital elph in US) to the new ixus s400 please post your thoughts on how they compair!
I know the s 400 has 4 mgp compaired to the 300s 2.1 mgp but has image sharpness improved?

My personal opinion, this is not an upgrade - from v3 (or 300) to 400. From 3 to 4 megapixel? only this? Would not think about much improvements. If I will think about upgrade - it will be from v3 to G3. the same 4 megapixel but completely different camera with much more possibilities to creation!
