YES!!!

Nikon has scheduled several press events in different countries on August 24th, 2011. This is now 100% confirmed from several different sources. Nikon did not have any scheduled press event for the last 50 f/1.8 and 40mm f/2.8 lenses, which makes the next announcement more important than the previous two.

Just got back from a "short" 9 mile ride. Holy crap it's hot out there.. 102+ and 25% humidity... that was miserable :/

That's nothing compared to what Saturday was like. 115F in the sun, 71% humidity. That was also the day that the tornado hit.

I was after the tornado. I did some stuff outside, but had to hide from the sun. When the UV index hits 10, I burn as soon as I step into the sun. And no, I am not a vampire. I actually haven't ridden much at all since I got hit by that baseball. It hurts.

She's thin as a stick. But definitely could be in the first few months. He already has a son with someone else. That kid is about 6 now. When they found out she was pregnant they planned to get married, but then she demanded all kinds of stuff that he wouldn't agree too and they broke up.

So with a history like that, it's the first thing that came to mind.

I use the photoshop plug in and then adjust the opacity of the layers. This way I can control and fine tune how much the effects hits different parts of an image. Basically how I also do selective sharpening and noise reduction as well.

Yes, because it means that when I have them on I won't be getting blasted in the fact by hot air when I'm going 20+ on my road bike. Even from my 35 minute ride today my contacts were drying up and my eyes were killing me. Glasses should help that a lot. :p

Contacts are annoying when they dry up! I don't like riding with them for that reason. But I also don't like wearing my prescription glasses while trail riding. They cost way too much to risk getting whacked in the face by a branch.

Thus why I went and bought some sunglasses specifically for that reason. :D It's not my fault one of the best lenses for riding happens to be rose colored. :p

Did they not have a tag on them? Or a sticker? For $60 they should be protected, but you never know.

I guess it is UV protected, but I did not see a tag on the particular one that I bought... but some other sun glasses with the same brand on the rack does have a "UV Protected" tag. :D

I am going to italy for almost 2 weeks and my parents won't let me take my camera...

I had it delivered because there aren't any photo shops in targu mures... The only reasonable one is in Bucharest (300-something km away) so I had them delivered with a courier service... it should be here tomorrow morning but i don't know when i am leaving...

I don't want to go.... :(

I carried a 1st Gen Endura just about everywhere I went until ~2003 when I burned a chunk out of the blade trying to separate a piece of equipment from a wall outlet while I was overseas. Spyderco has a no-replacement policy for blades, and I hate their Endura Gen 4 (current) blade and casing design. Some "improvements" are anything but an improvement. The old clip is molded into the handle and is less abrasive when held than the newer metal clip Enduras. I also don't like the notch they put in the locking mechanism, as it makes it harder to fully disengage the lock (I think its a safety precaution).

Nice! I'm a big fan of Benchmade. :)

The butterfly people...yeah, they are a more prevalent brand. They sell WAY more knives than Spyderco. The reason I like the Spyderco knives, primarily, is the "Spyderedge" serrated design. Mine is a full-serrated edge, though they offer combo and straight as well. As a utility knife, the serrations help. ;)

I used to have a Spyderco Harpy...

http://spyderco.com/pix/products/large/C08_L.jpg

...it was my Endura replacement, but I lost it overseas.

Mine was an early Harpy, though, and didn't have the stupid company logo on the blade. I like it fine on the handle, but it looks unprofessional and cheap on the blade, IMO.

This one is still stiff. I need to hit it with a touch of oil and start working it so it loosens up a bit. My old Endura was worn in nicely and I could open/close it with one hand. This one requires some quick assistance from my leg to close it. :-P

The thing with Benchmade, there is no break in time. This is what I suggest for an all around knife. I've used it for just about anything.
