I think I'd have looked a foot right and got the bucket in ... ;)

Thanx Ian, that is a Mercedes indeed, one of the first in Cancun. A father/son team labouring on it in mid-day, in an upscale neighbourhood. The street was deserted because of high temperature, and even at my distance I could feel the heat the black car was radiating.
A propos heat transfer properties of black bodies, Condyk of Wessex is right. The framing of the shot is flawed as it should have included the bucket, or dropped it altogether ;)

the Brabus version of those are nice. i rarely see them even in Tokyo, but the semi manual mid engine 3 banger thats designed by Swatch seems like a neat package to me.
and awesome picture. i like how its showing ppl thats not a stupid pose or anything. and i need to get me a 50mm f1.8...i heard it does wonders for the price.

Thanx Coco-puffs.......IMHO the 50 1.8 is such an excellent lens. In fact, I can not tell which one I used for which shots and I have owned both 1.4 and 1.8 variety.

really? i was thinking about buying a 50mm 1.8 for practice and to play around with macro (with one of those macro extention tubes or filters). i may just have to go buy one before my trip to the States.
