Powershot A80 LCD Monitor?

I've got a problem with my powershot A80. The LCD monitor off when Shooting Mode is set. If I want to browse previously taken pictures they show okay so the problem must be somewhere else. Please help. Does anybody know how to fix it? thanks

check the "power saving" mode, which turns the lcd screen off to save your batteries...it might be set to the lowest setting i.e. 10 seconds......move it to 1 minute or something like that.

Thanks for your reply chrysalis but I checked the power saving mode and is not that. I restored also the factory settings but didn't make any difference either....can anybody else help please?

If its anything like my A75, press the DISP button
