I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not the Raynox DCR-2020PRO 2.2X High Definition Telephoto Conversion Lens will work with a Canon PowerShot S1 IS, with the adapter of course (http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/dcr/dcr2020pro/index.htm (http://www.raynox.co.jp/english/dcr/dcr2020pro/index.htm)). On their site, they list the S1 IS as a camera that it can be used with, but does anyone have any knowledge of this lens, such as any accessories I may need to purchase, such as spacers or adapters other than the one needed for other telephoto lenses?
I would really like to be able to use this lens, as it seems to be the highest zoom telephoto for the S1 that I have been able to find out there.

Thanks :)

check www.lensmate.com which has been a very reliable source for information on such things. They also sell some Raynox gear, among others. They also manufacture adaptors required for the S1, S2, etc. -- well-machined aluminum, rather than the OEM plastic, and cheaper to boot.

Thanks, checked there and although they did not have a review for it on the S1, they did for the S2, and the results... not pretty... I guess the only real option is the Canon telephoto adaptor.
