AEBROWN, there is a very evident blue/green cast over the entire photo, even the rocks look a little green, could be a white balance issue. Were you keeping the photo like that on purpose? I think the photo has a lot of potential if that cast could be removed.

This is true the water lights up for about 15 minutes b/c the sun is able to get really low and travel up the canyon. the next day the water was gone which is another challenge.

It's a great shot but its a little too saturated to me.

You may be right on the saturation. As it comes straight out of the camera it needs some extra. At the time I shot this image I approached PP differently than I do now. PP seems to be about always learning new tricks and perhaps being more conservative in certain things like saturation and sharpening.

Oh, BTW, have you ever been to Sedona? These rocks and hills appear this saturated in real life.
