Ok,
I need some help on manual focusing. I would like to set the focus on one object while the background is blurry and vice versa. I was playing around with the camera and got to do it with one picture. But I couldn't figure it out again to take a diff shot.

you might also want to check the EXIF information on the shot that you liked, and then try to reproduce the settings.

What is the EXIF info?

What is the EXIF info?
don't know exactly what the letters stand for, but it's basically the information the camera records on your shooting data.
If you use the Zoombrowser software that came with the camera, you can find it by right-clicking the picture you are interested in.
If you still have the picture on your memory card, you can find it with the "review" mode, and then push the "display" button until you see the histogram. It should also contain the exif information.
