Thanx Condyk........frogs do not have good currency in canadian kitchens, not even in Quebec. It is also probably just a folk tale that people from Ottawa Valley refer to seagulls as "white flying chicken" and to horse meat as "road venison". The lads from Ottawa can comment on that fib.
