in my digital camera class, we were given an assignment to shoot in manual mode. We were to find a backlit situation and select different exposures in order to get the best shot . As we all use different cameras, the instructor was unable to give us specific instructions.
Anyway, as I understand it, the S2 in Manual Mode allows me to adjust TV and AP, but then the exposure will be indicated in red or green -with red indicating I need to readjust the TV or AP.
Am I correct in this assumption? Is there anyway to go totally manual with the S 2?

Nancy - If you set your S2 in manual mode then you are in totally manual mode. There is no other.
The red and green indicators just tell you that you have an over- or underexposure but
it's your decision if you want to over- or underexpose or if you want to adjust accordinly to what the
camera build in meter says. Good luck and happy shooting ... ;)
