Trivium at Mayhem Fest, PNC Arts Center

Trivium opened up the main stage at Mayhem and I am glad my first exposure to these guys was live. Even with most of the crowd taking a breath from the side stages, these guys did a kick ass job warming them up and putting people in their seats.

Like the rest of the main stage bands, we couldnt move from our one spot. So even when shifting 2 feet to the left would have given me a better perspective, I had to live with it.

Thank you for posting these. Love 'em! Matt Heafy is a beast. He's got some major pipes for such a thin guy. Ironic that you chose to post these on this day. Today is the release date for their latest album In Waves.

ha. not really. there was an empty seat next to me that I jumped on when he went to the side of the stage for the salute. one foot to the left and a bit taller :)
