G6 Mode Dial Problem

Does anyone remember the site that shows you how to fix the mode dial problem? The problem is when you have it in P mode but it switches to the C1 or C2 settings and back again. It seems as though it's related to a loose wire in the swivel LCD.
There was a site that had pictures on how to repair this problem.

I've searched this site as well as every othe site I could think of and can not find it. Any help would be appreciated.

For over a year I have been satisfied with my G6. Now I am having the a similar problem with a flakey mode selector.

Did you ever find the soluition to this issue?

I have a G3, and I had the MODE switch problem.
It was fixed by Mack Camera Service in N.J. I had a service contract with them for this camera, when I purchased it.
I beleive they replaced the circuit board.
