Going through some of my pics on my Pc and stumbled on these 2.

The owl was taken last yr (digiscoped) and the kinglt this spring...

Nice shots! You northerners....who up there HASN'T taken shots of Great Grays? I'm envious! I really need to head up there during an 'invasion' year. And I love those Kinglets. I want to get some pics of them as I see tons of them where I work.

That's it, i'm moving to Canada. GGO over there is probably as common as cardinal here in Texas. :D

Beautiful shot of the Great Grey Marc. It looks quite different then the other one you posted on my Great Grey thread! ;)

There's a flock of these Golden-Crowned Kinglets that passed through the woods directly behind my house last weekend, but ther lighting was horrible. You got a nice view of its "crown" here. As for the owl...lets hope we get treated to them this winter again!

I love the owl shot, wonderful birds and we were privlidged to have them in the area last winter. The kinglet shot is also nice in that its in the open with a textured background. My experience with these little birds is that they are always in the branches, or hovering and almost always moving. A difficult bird to shoot.

I love the composition on the owl shot. The great grey is a beautiful bird.
