I am working on my website. The EE program/routines are the anchor to the entire website as far as look and feel. Duplicating the look and feel has been a little bit of a problem for me, but I am getting very close. The one thing that is causing me to loose hair is this:

When you visit this EE page
http://www.melor.com/gallery/

The links to the galleries are yellow, and when your mouse hovers over the text it underlines ( good look btw, Pekka ). If you click, for example, on the "Short Term Gallery" then push the "back" button on your browser and then move your mouse over the same "Short Term Gallery" link, the underline is STILL THERE.

Contrast that to this page that I made.
http://www.melor.com/projects/

If you hover over a link, it underlines. Now click that link then return to the project page by hitting back. Now hover again NO UNDERLINE.

:( :(

WHY? I have been reading as much as I can all over the place and can't figure it out.

Any Help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks.

Paul:

The underline is still there for me. It just may be the settingsd on your own browser with regards to how it handles visited links. Just a thought.

Hi Paul!

Well I cant figure out the problem! In both galleries you have posted, there is no underline if i hit the back button!
But i think the problem could be, because if you only hit the back button, the link has again the focus! (thats the pointed rectangle around the link, if you look closer you will see it) Maybe there is just a conflict in the browser with active and visited link. I have seen that you using cascading stylesheets. I know that i.e. netscape will interpret this css other than IE. Try some other browser an look if the problem is still there!
I'm using "crazy browser" wich is a kind of plugin for IE. I fact its not really a plugin, because you can use IE allone and crazybrowser attached (www.crazybrowser.com)
