reducing the A40 Flash

I was wondering if there is a way to tone down the flash on the A40. Its rather over powering.

People have mentioned the overpowering flash on the A40 before. Unfortunately without the means of an external flash from a hotshoe we're pretty much outta luck. Unless you wanted to make a homemade diffuser and attach it somehow.

you can use a piece of tissue paper and cover the flash with it. this serves as a diffuser and the flash oftenly tones down a bit with it.
