Here is an antique shop that I pass every day on my way to and from work, I finally stopped to shoot it. I am very new at this, and am learning slowly the technical aspects of photography but tend to ignore almost the technical details and let creativity, or my eye guide me (sometimes it works, but I am left unsure of how broad the appeal is).

I would really appriciate coments on this and other photos that I post just to see if my opinion sucks.

I LOVE the shot except for the red railing. Pulls too hard on the eyes. Everything else looks good. Nice colors, nice textures.

I like the dissonance of the red railing, actually. I think i'd rather see it at the bottom of a portrait orientation. The tones and textures in this are very nice. I say get back there and explore it some more! Maybe even get a little more simplistic and focus on the patterns and shapes instead the scene as a whole. Cropping this one can create an image reminiscent of Mondrian's paintings.
