Hi there,
I have spent the last couple of hours going through the posts for information on my problem - apologies if I missed a post with the answer.
I have installed EE without problem. Now, when I try to edit the paths in the editor or anything that involves executing some type of command - I just get one of two errors:

1/ HTTP 400 - Bad Request.

2/ Page Cannot Be Displayed.

I cannot do anything!! If I even try to "JUMP TO EXHIBITION in the exhibition editor I get the 400 error. I cannot edit Misc. Settings without the Page error generating.

The interesting thing is that the address of the page after the errors are generated contains the following text:

http://www.MySite.net/Galleries/austra02/I) ÄI) lH)

Is this normal?? Any ideas as to my problem???

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Scott.

Seems to me like server configuration problem, they may have a cache there or limited POST size (PHP installation is not in default state). Try contacting your site support and ask them to check it out.

If they can not help or if you want me to check you installation email me to pekka@photography-on-the.net usernames are passes etc. to your ftp site which contains your EE. I will see the problem and if installation is correct.

Pekka,
I have emailed you as you requested three times now, and have heard nothing. Thanks for the SUPPORT!

EE 1.22 is freeware - support may take time depending on my situation.

I checked your site and PHP info and it seemed fine on the surface. I'd like to suggest that you try to upgrade to 1.3RC version http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=5552 , it has many bugfixes and handles URL's differently. Upgrade is easy because you have only basic setup of 1.22 running.

EE Backup's MySQL 4.0x compatible version is in http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=9812
