Absolutly minty shots, the tyre marks on the body in image 4  and the shot of Aston 22 Wow , can I ask was this with the 120-300 ?

Thanks guys, comments much appreciated.
John: No, the 120-300mm is a little short for Brands most of the time (at least from the public areas). #2,#3 and #4 were done using the EF 100-400L; all the others were with the Sigma APO 500mm EX prime.

While I am not much into race cars/motor sports (although I love football), I have to say these are amazing shots. WOW!

Thanks Coatsie, Brands, Maureen. GT3, thank you. It's pretty difficult to make an Aston look bad ;)

Thanks everyone!
Gavin: car crahes are always popular for some reason. I'm pleased to say that no driver was hurt in that incident.
Klarky: yes, all from the public areas. I'm not one of the lucky few with an MSV media pass - just a happy snapper amateur. You can't get the same angles from the public areas as you can from trackside, but there's enough there to work with if you know where to stand and know a few tricks about shooting through fences.
OceanView: the Sigma 500mm prime has an f/4.5 max. aperture.

quite likely:p but i couldn't take the camera:( on duty
Cadwell - great shots - Pic 4 - I arrived soon after that incident - in the course car after a rapid run round the track to check the cars over - more paperwork -but as you said , at least no one hurt.

Indeed Moppie, one of those photos that could be used in one of those "suggest your own" caption competitions. Great photo!

Great shots Glenn, both here and on your website. Particularly like some of the Formula Jedi shots that you have.

Thanks for the comments :D
Simon, glad you like the Jedi shots... hopefuly one of the drivers will too.
Dave, thanks; yes the Astons worked well even for "through the fence" shots - plenty to focus on!
Andy, thanks; the big issue with those shots was getting the timing right. The 500mm was really a bit too long for there.
