Hurricane Wilma just went by South Florida and left the cities and its people with a mess in hands and no electricity...but could have been worse, so I'm fine with it. I'm sharing the generator between the refrigetator and my computer  .
On the first pic the wind was blowing at about 120 mph. I cracked open the door to take it but had to hurry back inside because of debris.
Second pic was afterwards at a friends house parking area. Dozens of trees like this one everywhere.
Just some snapshots that I wanted to share.

Great PJ, Tom. Those strong winds turn pieces of wood and metal into spears and guillotines. Be safe over there.

I lived on Singer Island ,Palm Bch County untill 1999. I am glad not to have lived through a bad one. Living now 1 hr N W of Orlando. My son lives in Orlando and had trees fall on his home last year. My inlaws live in Boynton Bch ,their home and store was damaged last year and yeasterday another store they rent ,all the windows blow out. Bad luck , I feel bad for You and all that suffered the last two years.
Best of Luck
Ricko:(

I'm glad to see that traffic is flowing OK - I'm coming over to Ft. Lauderdale on Nov 4 for 3 days (island folk, we have to shop now and then in the US or we get rock fever!! :D) We were supposed to have been there this past weekend, but cancelled because of Wilma! Great shots!

Thank you Keiffer and Sandi for your thoughts too. Hopefuly this is the last hurricane of the season  . I hear you Keiffer, they call it the Sunshine State...should be the "SunCane" state  . My only rant now is not having power..they said it might take up to four weeks for some people. I feel for everybody affected but I hope I'm not in that group :( .
