First is a White-plumed Honeyeater which is a small and common bird here and second is also a fairly smallish common bird the Black-winged Stilt. They are quite a nice bird wick a kind of yelp/bark like that of a puppy.

Hi Mitcon

They are both very very nice but i have a q.
Was the first one shot in raw?
I can see some weird paterns on it.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Dimitri, Off-hand I can't remember but I think it was just jpeg. was at 1600 iso and I had to lighten it up a fair bit. I tried cleaning up the noise and such but I wasn't happy with all the detail that it lost. I guess I'm still not real good at the PP side of things.

Thanks for the great replies folks,
lol Lazy I'm already busy taking folks out on fieldtrips and already have some people from OS asking where I shoot/if I'll take them out. Maybe I should give up shooting and start doing tour guides :D

Hi Mitcon

By looking at it (mind you, diferent monitor) it doesn`t look like noise !
I don`t know what it is but it seems to spoil a good shot.
