Hi all,
I had to send in my 5D today for service. There is a wierd blob showing up in the lower right corner of my pics and some dust that will not move.
I'm not sure what the blob is, but I have my fears (somehow the glass filter over the sensor is/got cracked). I can only really see it in photos of the sky - I know it's not the lens as I've tried 2 and the blob doesn't move.
The dust... well, the dust I have another theory on. The dust did not budge, no matter how many times I tried to clean the sensor - or how many different angles I approached the problem, the dust didn't move - it's almost like the dust is caught between the filter glass and the sensor.
Well, no matter, I sent it in to canon for service. The most depressing is that they told me it would be 2-3 weeks before I would get my camera back :cry: so looks like I'm using the Oly E10 or not taking any pictures until I get the 5d back. funny how I notice this only after I sell my 300D rofl.
Oh well.
