Shot two theater events on wednesday, one musical, and one drama about the guy that wrote the musical!

This was my second paid event, and this time round I had an assistant - Wazza. He came down for the muscial and took a bunch of shots with his 20D.

The drama was lots lots darker than the musical, and extreemly dificult. It was so dark i was working hard just to see the actors onstage through my eyes, let alone through the lense.

I shot the entire night at 1600ISO, getting shutter speeds between 1/20th and 1/80th wide open.

Lenses swapped between canon 90-300/4.5-5.6 18-55 kit, 17-40l, sigma 75-300. None of the lenses are fast at all!
Shooting with a monopod, at 300mm and 1/20th, i can get abot 75% hit rate of sharp images. most are blurred not due to camera shake but the actors moving too much!
