I have had my G1 for a few months. I just noticed that many of my pictures have a small green spot on them. It turns out that on the superfine JPEG pictures, about 10 pixels are hot and produce this green spot.

I took the camera into Canon for service and they did nothing to the camera and said the CCD is within Canon specs. Seems like a RAW deal to me. I have to fix each picture I take.

Has anyone else had this problem. How do I corrupt a few more pixels in order for Canon to fix or replace the camera?

Yes I have a few green pixels a lot. Have learned to edit them out quickly. Most noticeable in portraits. Have yet to try and see if Canon will do anything about it. hate to be without the camera. Taken about 6000 pictures with it.
