Hi all, these were taken while out for a walk today. 20D + 100-400L IS.
The first pic is a Jackdaw I think and the second needs no introduction!

Nice shots, especially the first one. Beautiful golden background really makes the bird and tree stand out.

I like them both. Not being from the UK I have not a clue what the second bird is but I do like its colouring as well as the green (fern?) on the branches.

I like them both. Not being from the UK I have not a clue what the second bird is but I do like its colouring as well as the green (fern?) on the branches.
It's a Robin. I have many photos of these birds but this is the first one that I have noticed so much blue in it's plumage. Do you not have Robins in Canada then?

both are great,but the second one im really drawn to. plus the robins around here look nothing like that.
