I've had these issues since I got the camera, and recently updating the firmware to 1.02 didn't help so I'm stumped...
When I select the videomode with the camera off, and then turn it on, the lcd is sometimes scrambled in a greenish-kind of way, and the camera itself has hanged and no buttons work. After a few seconds it shuts itself down.
If i start the camera with viewmode or normal picture-taking mode it works fine. I f I from there select videomode, I get the same kind of "hang" where the buttons don't respond, but this time the lcd is just black.
It only happens sometimes and I can't figure out what triggers it, so my question is if any of you guys have had this problem?
Should i just send it in for service or something, it has been this way all the time like i said?
