Looked out our apartment window last night to see a full and bright moon rising over the Carbide & Carbon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbide_%26_Carbon_Building) building (which resembles a champagne bottle,) at sunset. I composed the picture to show the movement of the moon, while also waiting until the airplane in the distance reached the left edge of the frame to show the size perspective.

Very nice...the moon is awesome and I especially like the specular reflections in the glass. I'd remove the flying object (is it a bird, or plane, or underdog?). It's just too small to resolve/understand, so it works as a glitch in an otherwise nice photo.

One more consideration: My own preference, in cases like this, is to select the sky and perform noise reduction. The sky is a smooth detail-free continuous tone area and can be easily smoothed.

I like it Dan. To me the noise in the sky adds to the overall feel of the shot. The airplane doesn't do anything for me either way. If it were my picture, I'd clone it out.
