I'm trying to decide between a Canon 28-105 f3.5-4.5 and a Canon 28-135 F3.5-5.6 as my primary lens. Is the 135 worth the extra money, size and weight when compared to the 105?

I did try the 28-105, it front focus on my camera with the ruler test. But I know my camera do not have any problem because I test with 50mm f1.8. SO I get the 28-135 IS USM, I do not have any problem except it's heavy and it cut down the hand holding time to keep image sharp
